I am a University College London (UCL), UK graduate (2014) and my research work was related to the image reconstruction and quantification methods in PET/SPECT and CT. I am working as a medical physicist at the institute of nuclear medicine and oncology (INMOL), Lahore, Pakistan since 30 May 1993. I am responsible for and supervise instruments justification preparation, installation, commissioning, acceptance testing and quality control of nuclear medicine and radiotherapy equipment. I handle and supervise technologists for image processing and image analysis of PET/CT, SPECT/CT and MRI. I conduct and supervise quality control and quality assurance of nuclear medicine instruments including PET/CT, protocol design and carrying out various SPECT and PET studies whenever required for the training and supervision purposes of the technologists and students along with routine image processing and image analysis work with nuclear medicine physicians. I also take part in repair and maintenance of software and hardware applications of the imaging instruments. I completed one-year postdoc at Rayleigh, UK while working as Imaging Physicist through the University of Hertfordshire in electrical impedance tomography (EIT) image reconstruction and programming.
