My name is Delara Aarabisamani. I hold a B.Sc. degree in Materials Science and Engineering. I ranked 386th amongst about 8000 applicants in nationwide M.Sc. entrance exam. My GPA during M.Sc. was 3.47/4.00 (Department's third top student among graduate students). Also, I have an IELTS English language certificate with an overall band score of 7.5.
My research interests are Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering, Nanocomposites, Polymer composites, Biomaterials synthesis and characterization, surface and coating materials, and advanced materials. My master's thesis title was ''Electrospun Polycaprolactone/Graphene/Baghdadite Composite Nanofibres with Improved Mechanical and Biological Properties''. I have developed a set of theoretical and experimental research experiences while working in a team which has resulted in two papers published in the journals of Fibers and Polymers, and Applied Physics A: Materials Science and Processing. I feel confident that commencing a PhD degree will help me to achieve my objectives.
