My name is Amir Taheri. I recently graduated from K.N. Toosi University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, where I studied Geomechanics Engineering. I am proud to say that I ranked second in my class with a cumulative GPA of 16.02/20 (80.1%). My interests lie in the field of numerical simulation of geomechanics, hydraulic fracturing, fully coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical (THM) analysis, and fluid flow in porous media. During my master's program, I focused on the "Thermo-Hydro-Mechanical investigation of the initiation and development of hydraulic fracturing in vertical and horizontal boreholes." I am excited to continue pursuing my passion for geomechanics in the future and contribute to the field through research and innovation.
