Ashkan Nomani

I am Ashkan Nomani, a graduate student with an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Isfahan, with a GPA of 3.27/4 and strong research background. I am eager to join your research team; I wonder if there is any open Ph.D. position in your group commencing Fall 2022/Spring 2023/Fall 2023. As a graduate student who studied biomedical engineering, my interests lie in the intersection of Computer Science, Data Science, and Image and Signal Processing. As a research assistant, I worked at the Signal Processing Lab for about one year. I was a Teacher Assistant of Digital Signal Processing for Graduate Students, resulting in a paper submitted to ICBME/IEEE 2013. We employed a Feature Extraction mechanism for five types of ECG signals of the MIT-BIH dataset based on Daubechies Wavelet. We optimized the algorithm to achieve higher accuracy with fewer Tik Tok counts of MATLAB. In addition, I have authored one other paper on machine learning applications in bioinformatics to classify interacting proteins from non-interacting ones. These two papers have been published. Before this, I did my pre-seminar research working with detection and classification networks such as SVM, Scattering Neural Networks, and CNN's to be used in the real-time analysis of learning systems. I have to mention that I recently published a new open-access Journal paper, "A Computational Radiology for Breast Cancer Diagnosis Improvement Based on Image Processing Using Machine Learning Methods," in Hindawi Computational Intelligence and Neuroscience Volume 2022, Article ID 5667264, 17 pages https://doi.org/10.1155/2022/5667264".
