Kiuomars Taheri is a researcher. He holds an M.Sc. degree in Petroleum Exploration Engineering from Yazd University in Iran and a B.Sc. degree in Petroleum Drilling Engineering. Also in 2019, he has been selected as the top graduate of Iran's public universities by Iran's National Elites Foundation. His main field of research is Petroleum Engineering. His research interests are in Enhanced Oil Recovery, Porous Media, Petrophysics and Geomechanics. He is a university lecturer and has published many papers in prestigious scientific and international journals. He has more than 10 years of work experience related to oil & gas industry. His job at the research lab is to perform specialized lithology and fluid tests on the core, reservoir fluid which is done with the aim of obtaining subsurface storage from the reservoir. He is well acquainted with experience in the CO2 storage. He has closely experience numerous operations in fluid flow in porous media, EOR/IOR, core analysis, well stability, well integrity, reservoir petrophysics, and geomechanics evaluation.
