Reza Esfilar

Reza received his master’s degree in chemical engineering with a focus on energy analysis and process design from the University of Tehran. His research interests include process integration, waste-to-energy systems, renewable energies, and exergy analysis, in addition to his research on applied aspects of economics and environmental engineering. He has over seven years of research and development experience in a company and academia. Iran’s National Elites Foundation introduced him to Water and Wastewater Company for optimizing water filtration process based on CFD methods. Also, Reza was telecommute research assistant in conjunction with the University of Victoria and participated in multidisciplinary projects in areas such as technoeconomic feasibility of hybrid waste-to-energy systems, HHV prediction of various municipal wastes, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
