Roham Maher

Mechanical engineer with extensive experience (+10 yrs) in using finite element (FE) software (e.g. ANSYS) to analyze, optimize and improve designs in different industries. My main focuses are on structure analysis under mechanical and thermal loads in linear and non-linear situations. I have many experiences in the field of numerical analysis of industrial structures under static, dynamic (modal, transient, harmonic, etc.), impact (low and high velocity), thermal (steady state and transient), and blast loads. I also have done projects related to optimization, buckling (pre and post-buckling), fatigue calculation, and fracture mechanics in FE software. Also, I have used 3D Modeling & CAD tools to develop, validate, and manage new parts and product designs from concept to full production. Currently looking for a suitable postdoc position with a reputable university.
