My name is Sara Karkhaneh and I am a senior Ph.D. student in chemical engineering from the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST). My thesis was about “Investigation and modeling of selective catalytic reduction of NOx with ammonia over NixMn3-xO4” and I graduated with a master's degree in Chemical Engineering-Biotechnology from the Sahand University of Technology with a GPA of 3.23/4. My thesis was “Performance evaluation of Pseudomonas microorganism in biological treatment of Anthracene contaminated soil” with almost 7 years of related work experience in various fields of air pollution control, synthesis, heterogeneous catalysis, environmental biotechnology, water, and wastewater treatment and Microbial contamination. I was a co-author of several papers, a book about Ammonia recovery from wastewater and radioactive wastewater, a patent about the Synthesis of Heterogeneous catalysis, and also a research assistant in several projects at the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology.
