s a Geotechnical Engineer and scholar, I'm constantly looking for new challenges that haven't been solved yet. In order to successfully overcome those challenges, over the years I've been studying and acquiring the necessary skills to do so. I'm eager to face arduous issues concerning geotechnical engineering.
During my MSc thesis, I've investigated the crack initiation and coalescence of interfacial flaws in bimaterials. To carefully study the crack patterns, I used the digital image correlation technique for the first time in the geotechnical engineering laboratory at Tarbiat Modares University. I'm Still working on the issue because I think there's a lot of work that needs to be done.
Here is a summary of my skills and specialties:
• Proficient in conducting different laboratory rock mechanics tests including Direct Shear Test, Uniaxial
Compression, Point Load, Schmitt hammer, Brazilian, etc.
• Skillful in using the Digital Image Correlation Technique and Analyzing the results.
• Numerical simulation with geotechnical modeling programs such as Plaxis and FLAC.
• Skilled at graphical drawing with AutoCAD
• Structure and Foundation Design using ETABS and SAFE.
• Familiar with using mathematical and programming skills for analyzing data and developing models with
MATLAB, Fortran, and C++.
• Expert in teaching English to ESL students.
