My name is Abolfazl Ebrahimnataj Tiji. I am a PhD applicant with strong interests and records in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration systems. I am planning to earn a PhD degree in net-zero energy buildings. In the context of HVAC and refrigeration, I have a great contributions including professional working and RA experiences as well as academic papers which are all enclosed in my CV attached.
Toward PhD program, my research interests are in line with integrated building energy systems. In this regard, I am so interested in integration of solar collectors with refrigeration systems, heat pumps and air conditioning systems in order to supply the heating and cooling demands. Such systems consume electrical loads to run, so the required electricity can be provided by photovoltaic systems as well as solar-powered Organic Rankin Cycle toward net-zero energy buildings which has engaged my interest. As a qualification in HVAC and refrigeration systems, my undergraduate major is related to HVAC which entails a great deal of experimental and numerical skills. I have also a 5-year experience as a technical expert in the field of absorption/compression chiller in addition to having RA experience dealing with CFD software as well as programming skills with MATLAB and EES.
