Mahdi holds Bachelor’s degree in applied chemistry. He received his M.Sc. in 2021 from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the K. N. Toosi University of Technology. His main research interests are in the area of Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulation, specialization in designing novel drug delivery systems, and computer-aided drug design. Focus areas include designing micelle as a nanocarrier and discovering novel and potent small molecules as an inhibitor of Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK) in the treatment of non-small cell lung carcinoma. He is also interested in research in the field of personal drug delivery, personal protein corona, gene delivery, and cryo-EM protein imaging.
