This is Nima Taheri, a senior student majoring in Economics. Throughout my years of studying, I have always favored my analytical nature, which is exactly the reason why I have pushed past my limits to have an exceptional academic track record in Economics. With unconditional support from young, resourceful, and enthusiastic professors and their carefully planned instruction, not only did I manage to fully understand the fascinating theories of Economics, but I also gained an invaluable wealth of hands-on experiences. These have most certainly demonstrated the sometimes missing link between theory and practice by acquainting me with economic tools and resources that an economist requires in order to obtain and analyze different pieces of data. Defining current economic conditions and attempts to forecast the future more accurately using economic principles and big datasets has been and will always be the reason I fell in love with economics in the first place.
