Zainab Mesgartehrani

I received my Ph.D. degree in Cultural Sociology in 2021 from Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran. I worked as a research fellow at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey from 2019 to 2020. I am a freelance researcher and my main research focus is women and the Middle East. I am an active researcher in religious sociology too. I was an Associate Editor in The International Journal of Religion and Spirituality in Society in 2016. I am also the Director-in-Charge of Biotechnology Publications and Vice president of research at Nasim Institute. My hobbies are Calligraphy and Traditional Persian illumination which is called Tazhib.
