I, Mohammad Mahdi Khakbaz Heshmati, born in Tehran in 1995, am a master's degree graduated in Electrical Engineering – Micro/Nano Electronic Devices at Shiraz University of Technology (SUTECH).
As a child, whenever I was asked the famous question “what are you going to be in the future?”, I would always reply that I would be going to become a scientist. To fulfill that childhood dream, I opted to study electronics engineering through which I hope I could one day be adding value to the world. From the very beginning, when I enrolled in electrical engineering bachelor’s degree, I had big thoughts in mind; with each semester completed, yet there was more to come. With great enthusiasm and interest in the field of Micro/Nano Electronic Devices, I started the master's degree at SUTECH, one of the highest-ranking technical universities in Iran.
My interest in optical electronics led me to refer to Professor Farzin Emami (full-professor in Optoelectronics at SUTECH), who has helped me compassionately along the path. I have also been honored to benefit from his knowledge as my supervisor.
My main subjects of interest being Micro/Nano Electronics, Quantum Optics, Photonics, Quantum Electronics, Optoelectronics, and Optical Integrated Circuits (OICs).
My goal to opt for a scientific lifestyle is to serve humanity and help human beings’ dreams come true with an approach to cherish and revive the environment.
