My name is Maryam Kamali, I am 30 years old and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Textile Design and Printing from Semnan University, a public university in Iran. I started my studies in 2015 and graduated in 2021. My studies took longer than usual due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a personal health issue (angioedema and chronic urticaria) during my thesis period.
For my final project, I designed a textile and fashion collection inspired by an electronic music album about the galaxy. I received a grade of 17.5 out of 20, and my overall GPA was 14.47 out of 20.
After graduation, I was awarded a scholarship from a fashion academy in Tehran, where I completed an intensive fashion design course. I also participated in various online courses related to my field, including trend forecasting, styling, sustainable fashion, Clo3D, Illustrator for textile printing, Photoshop, and basic sewing.
Although I do not have any formal work experience yet and I have not taken the IELTS exam, I am committed to developing my professional skills and building a strong portfolio in fashion and textile design.
